Designed myself… I wanted something different than just the same old DH logo everyone gets so I took out the line in the middle and put in the HP letters. I got it done on August 21, 2010 (I was 17) on my right wrist. It took about an hour and a half and I love it so much omg <333 I look at it every day and go omg I am so fucking cool~ I get looks and judgements all the time but lol whatever haters I will never regret it.

Sometimes it’s a little hard for me to share what my HP tattoo means to be since it’s so personal, but I feel like we all have such a similar story in that HP has done something for each every one of us.

i don’t really think i can ever express in words what this tattoo means & represents for me. it’s a mixture of my childhood, me growing up, and what i hope for myself in the future. it is also a tribute to something that in a sense, saved my life.

This was right after it was done. Since then it’s been touched up and such. It’s been over a year and a half since I’ve gotten it and it still means as much to me as when I first got it.

This is my Harry Potter tattoo, yeah its not exactly unique but the one I actually wanted wouldn’t work for the size I needed it to be. I love Harry Potter and will continue to love Harry Potter throughout my lifetime. I wanted this one in a place where it would be ruined by time and change of my body so its on my left shoulder blade. My future children will know what Harry Potter means to me.

I’ve been planning this for years and FINALLY! This is my first tattoo & I am completely in love with it. It’s a quote said by Sirius Black in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Honestly even if I wasn’t obsessed with Harry Potter I would have still gotten this quote because it’s so relevant and it can relate to not only myself, but pretty much everyone.

So yeah, I’m a very happy person right now :)

my new tattoo that i got today 5/16/2011. it’s my tribute to harry potter. harry potter was a huge part of my childhood, and i’ve stuck with it to the very end. it means a lot to me, and now that it’s going to be officially over in july i wanted to get a piece of it to stay with me forever. “all was well” were the last three words in harry potter and the deathly hallows. i got my tattoo done in Evanston Wyoming at Asylum Tattoo by Zachariah Shaw, he is a very talented person & i’ll definitely go back to him for my other tattoo needs in the future. :)

This is my Harry Potter quote tattoo. I got it because the first books I ever truly enjoyed were the Harry Potter books. My father bought me the first book and now we share a love for everything “Booky.”

I love my tattoo more than anything. Got it September, 2010 (Labor Day). Harry Potter is my life and I don’t care who knows it (even though this tattoo isn’t in a place that I typically display to the general public). It has like 3 meanings: one being the importance of HP in my life, one being that my dad is super against tattoos so my mischief is managed since I got one anyway, and the other being…well, come on. Look at it. It’s kinda sexual. I didn’t really think about that at the time I was getting it done, but my friends have been like DANG GRL U SCANDALOUS.

I’m so ready for another tattoo I can’t even stand it. I’ve been writhing around just desperate to like steal some money or something and just go get one. I have so many ideas, I just want them to all magically appear.

The one standing still is Remus, the top is Sirius. They are taken directly from the closing credits of the 3rd film; I tried not to change them as much possible, because they belong to the actual characters. I considered adding the little scrolls with their names, but it seemed superfluous and this way it feels more like a secret code.

My Sirius Black Azkaban id tattoo

This is a tattoo I got on my upper left torso of a Grizzly Bear Paw with the phrase “Expecto Patronum” within the main pad of the paw. The phrase in latin means “I await a protector,” however it’s also a major spell from Harry Potter which was a huge part of my childhood, the spell itself creates conjures an incarnation of the caster’s innermost positive feelings, such as joy, hope, or the desire to survive, known as a Patronus and often takes the shape of an animal, my favorite animal being the grizzly bear seemed a pretty fitting choice.
