Catherine G. as Little Kitty Pryde on Kids Day at New York Comic Con. One commenter notes that the character was actually called "Sprite" when she used this costume. I love the obscure choice.

Kids: Sith Apprentice Interview

Sariah Gallego is the cute kid who recently became majorly internet famous for pledging her allegiance to Darth Vader in the middle of a stage show at the Disney Star Wars experience. Well, here's the inevitable follow up interview. She talks about her love of Star Wars in general and the Sith in particular.

It's a bit funny that she already has her own "Sithgirl" banner and shirt. Clearly, her parents are rolling with the internet fame, as opposed to trying to steer her clear of the questionable interest of the interest, but for now, the whole thing is still pretty funny.

Kids: Star Wars Droid Twins

The Burton Twins as Star Wars Droids at Celebration V

The girls are the daughters of Juiceman1138 and costume designer humblebumbleb, who writes:

"The base of the dresses is sewn using New Look pattern # 6878. It's a quick and easy pattern that I make for my girls for every holiday and event. The dresses were then embellished with puff paint. That's right, the same thing we all used when we were 10 years old to paint on everything, it is one of my favorite craft supplies. A little felt here and there for R2's panel, and finished the outfits off with little bow head bands from the left over fabric.

I wanted to make my girl's "costumes" that I knew they would be comfortable in and wear all day and that would be cute and girly."

"My girls!!!! I should have stood up for the photo too, I have on a shirt that says Droid Factory (cause we are expecting another baby). And my hubby had on a shirt that said "These aren't the droids you're looking for. Super fun day!"

Kids: Mad Max Reenactment

Kids Reenact Mad Max by Tino Schaedler & Achim Lippoth

In this photo set, a young boy dressed like Mad Max (Mel Gibson) has a hostile encounter with a tribe of savages in the middle of the desert. The photos were commissioned by 'Kid's Wear' magazine. They are the first collaboration of adNAU's Tino Schaedler and photographer Achim Lippoth. Schaedler designed the vehicles in imitation of the movie's as well as the sets, which were augmented with computer-generated landscapes by Hamburg-based production house The Scope.

Kids: Link Girl

I love seeing parents with little cosplayers in tow at conventions.  It's a ton of fun seeing kids this pumped about these events.

Kids: Voltron Girl

Source: Buzz Feed

I love the expression on this kid's face.  She totally knows she's a bad-ass.  I have a hard time believing that a parent would go through all of the effort of assembling this costume and only post one photo, but this is the only photo I could find.  I'm guess the rest are floating around out there on a site that's not in English.

Kids: Edward Scissorhands

Source: OK, Bye

Alright, this kid is a bit creepier than the last little Edward Scissorhands, but it's still a good effort. Hell, if creepy is what you're going for, it might be even be an improvement.

Kids: Baby in a Tardis

Baby’s first TARDIS (Via)

Over at the blog Mateo and Me, Jennifer posted pictures of the TARDIS that Mateo's graphic designer father made for him for his birthday. Mateo's dad made it out of corrugated cardboard, which is what he works in.

Kids: Cephalopod Cap

There's just no way to overstate how unimpressed this kid with her new hat.
I swear, this is the exact expression my dog give me when I throw a stick.
